I turn the page,
Forget what I wrote down yesterday
A short memory will save my life today
Bring back the haze,
The morning daze
I wanna see the light today
I’ve seen what you know,
It’s in what you let go
You say you think you’re losing touch
Cuz you think too much
I turn the page,
Forgot how to wake up yesterday
Pretending I’m into things you say,
But I don’t know why
It’s not what you know,
I’ve been feeling let go
You say you think you’re losing touch
Cuz you think too much
Up the bend on PV drive
To clear my head, to ease my mind
I yearn to be some place I’ve never been
Anxiety keeps me behind,
I fall in love with the first I find
Nostalgia for a name I’ve never known
This Oakland group pulls no punches, serving up a hard-hitting punk album that recalls the blistering brilliance of Refused. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 8, 2020
Man I hear a lot of influences in this metal-ish album. Alice in Chains, Silverchair, Helmet, Bivouac, Chevelle come to mind. Good heavy meaty riffs, tight stop-start rhythms, and catchy vocals that soar without screaming. anabolic squirrel
